Hi I’m Louis Möckel. I’m a designer. ☻
However, I don’t use design to shape things, but rather to experiment with scientific methodologies.    ⸔  
In times of pervasive mass production, design becomes a tool to analyze the relationship between subjects and objects, utilizing design thinking to extend existing epistemologies. My definition of design is therefore post-productive and employs design thinking to not only extend what we know but also how we know.    П

My greatest passion is sound. My latest project, „Sonic Footprints,“ is a publication focused on the ecology of technophony.    ʎ    
Technophony refers to sounds produced by technology. „Sonic Footprints“ aims to explore the ecological and cultural effects of these sounds, using a plastic toy dolphin as a case study.    ♪    
By interviewing biologists and philosophers, and collaborating with electronic musicians, the publication materialized as a vinyl record accompanied by a booklet. You can explore the publication here:
